I thought I should try at least one elaborate group picture. where the various cast members faded away into the background (ala some of the Sailormoon pinups of yore). Given that they were all given a "color"... rainbow seemed a good prompt to use.

I got a little burnt out on the piece before inking, so I kept it pretty subdued. The coloring is simple but experimental (each person has a different base for highlights or shadows). Some cases work better than others, but it's certainly a neat effect, especially as a group.

Midori and Terryn are my favorites here, I think.

Ooh, I really like the colors in this! I love characters in rainbow (don't know how else to word that at the moment). =D

Thank you! I haven't done the coloring technique before so I'm excited that it works!

And it's cool, I completely know what you mean. I've always been a fan of the colorful group picture (I blame Sailormoon, heh XD) and the group picture in general, so I've been pushing to draw more of them.

Ahaha. Thank you. Midori was possibly my personal favorite ;) Gestures aside, I like how energetic she turned out (and the forest green worked oddly well as a shadow color).

I love the connections and interactions! Particularly between Midori & Ombrage, and (one-sided) Flint & Feu. Koneko's body language is also pretty awesome.

Oh for the days of image colors. ;)
