There were some scraps of green construction paper in the breakroom at work, so I started sketching. It turned into Taya, in her room back in Pao, lost in thought. The background cuts off abruptly due to the shape of the paper, I just filled it out with green for the scan.
I only realized once I was done that I basically repeated the pose from "Never". I suppose I'm just rather fond of that pose, what can I say.
The picture quality is atrocious. Light pencil drawn on dark paper does NOT scan happily
Awww. This is a beautifully moody piece. Her expression and pose are spot-on, and the off-center composition works really well! Plus I like the blowy curtain.
A collection of the most beautiful and amazing square photographs I found among my favourites. Please have a look and give these artists the attention they deserve!
